We highly recommend completing an application before your visit to be pre-approved and make the process seamless. Our Adoption Manager reviews applications within a 24-hour period.

Our Adoption Process

  1. View our available cats online or in-person

If you find a cat that interests you, please take the time to fill out a cat adoption application. It is not mandatory to have an application prior to visiting, but highly recommended to make the adoption process more seamless!

  2. Meet cat(s) at The Cat Lounge™

We require potential cat adopters to meet our available kittens and cats to see if it's a fit. No appointment needed. If you do not have an application on file and you do not wish to complete one until you meet the cats, your visit will be viewed as an Admission.

  3. Complete Adoption Process

    • Fill out a Cat Adoption Application before or during your visit at the lounge if you haven't filled one out online.
    • Get the Cat Adoption Application approved by a staff member.
    • The team will review medical history and adoption agreement.
    • Pay adoption donation. Donations vary depending on age, breed, and temperament:
    Seniors (10 years old+)$150
    Adults (1 year old+)$200
    Kittens$250 – $300
  4. Bring home and love your new fur baby!

All cats are microchipped, dewormed, spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (if over 6 months), received a fecal PCR (if over 6 months), and have received their FVRCP vaccinations. All you have to do is love them!

Our Adoption Policy

01

We make every attempt to determine if an animal has any medical conditions while in our care.

There may be instances when an adoptable pet requires a medical consultation prior to being adopted in order to inform adopters of any known medical conditions. We pride ourselves in being transparent about any current or future care the cat may require.

02

We collect adoption fees to assist in the daily care and on-going needs of each cat.

Adoption fees vary according to the type and age of the pet. The adoption fee allows us to cover spay/neuter, FVRCP vaccinations, flea medication, deworming, and FELV/FIV test for adult cats.

03

We have an open door return policy.

We are proud to offer an open door return policy. If for any reason the adopter decides the adopted pet is not a successful addition to their home, we encourage the adopter to return their pet to us without judgement or criticism. Adopters may return their pet at any time, whether it be a week after adoption or 10 years.
